Advanced Battery recycling

UltraMax has successfully delivered a major innovation programme focused on building the future of battery manufacturing and remanufacturing in the UK. Through this initiative, we have developed a clear, scalable pathway for high-volume battery assembly combined with advanced remanufacturing—creating a more sustainable, efficient, and commercially viable energy ecosystem.
The RePower Hub introduces a circular approach to battery production, where assembly and remanufacturing operate together within a single integrated system. This enables batteries to be disassembled, assessed, and rebuilt using verified components—extending product life, reducing waste, and maximising the value extracted from every battery. The result is a smarter, more sustainable supply chain that supports both cost efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Our work has demonstrated the feasibility of establishing a UK-based facility capable of supporting growing demand across automotive, energy storage, telecoms, and industrial sectors. By combining market analysis, facility design, and manufacturing strategy, UltraMax has defined a clear route to delivering high-quality battery systems with reduced lead times and greater supply chain resilience.
This initiative also strengthens UltraMax’s position as a technology and manufacturing leader. By integrating advanced production techniques with remanufacturing capability, we enable customers to benefit from both new and second-life battery solutions—unlocking new business models while reducing total cost of ownership.
